Sing Out choir started in March 2014 and is aimed at boys and girls of 7 to 11 years who have an interest in singing
-there are currently 15 members.
The choir is led by Angela Watson who is a professional musician and a team of adult volunteers. At the moment we have the capacity for about 25 children.
We meet in the hall or church building of St Margaret's Scottish Episcopal church, Glasgow and learn a fun and varied repertoire of songs and musical games. There is usually a short parents' concert at the end of each term and we have been invited to sing at many other external events.
The choir was started using a 2 year lottery fund grant but it was so successful that St Margaret's vestry offered to continue financing the choir from their own community fund when the lottery funding came to an end. They also kindly donate free use of the church hall.
As before, there is no charge or audition to join.
Rehearsals begin at 3.30pm until 4.50pm on Tuesdays
There is a break during each session when children are offered a snack and some social time in between songs and games .
